For a hill girl, the sands and lakes of Rajasthan has been magical. This was my first visit to Udaipur and I spent two days exploring the bylanes of beautiful Udaipur. It was not enough. I just have to come back again to see more.
I stayed in a cute little hotel with a gorgeous garden by the lake and had a fabulous stay before I travelled on to Jodhpur.

Here, I am wearing my finds from the many cute shops of the gallis of Udaipur.
A sheer cotton kurta in bright yellow and a silk patch skirt and tie-dye scarf in green on my head. Total cost: 1000 bucks.
The next day, we walked around the city like a regular tourist after a relaxing morning at the spa. Breakfast at the Cafe Edelweiss, a visit to the City Palace and lunch at Ambrai overlooking the Lake Pichola. Enjoyed my daal batti and lal maas too along with the fresh juice and shakes in the bylanes.
