I have always enjoyed styling Anu PD's versatile garments. It's quite challenging to tell the truth but it never fails to tickle my brains and push me to do fun things with them. Take these two pieces I am wearing here. One is a brocade dreamy top and the other is a bejeweled black and gold cape. And my silk wrap skirt forms the perfect foil for both pieces.
These photographs were shot in my hotel room in Varanasi where I visited recently and I was in the mood to celebrate life, beauty and change in a serene way, watching the waters ripple, lit diyas floating by, bells ringing, priests chanting, feeding the gulls and watching the smoke rise and become one with the skies.
Let me talk about AnuPD's #VersatileGarments. Label Anu PD is a fun-take on what clever fashion design is already on offer. It is like deconstructing and simplifying elaborate couture pieces and yet they are so glamorous and multi-dimensional. You can just thrown it on top of your tees and jeans and transform you into a stylish diva, all set for a candle lit dinner or even an elegant evening out.
Many of us would like to add drama to our outfits and teaming a drape, cape or collar
with your regular wear to push your fashion-game up. Added to this, is another blessing of not having to hunt for heavy-duty jewels to go with the outfit, since each #VersatileGarment is embellished with intricate design elements making your statement pieces a dream accessory garment, whether it is a wedding party/cocktail evening/luncheon or just a morning in the sun.
Have fun with your Anu PD pieces. Hair jewels by Keds Krome for Tetseo Sisters.
